TARX — Human OS for Agents - Image 1

TARX is a human-in-the-middle operating system for agents. Voice-first onboarding, desk-top 'glass overlay', OCR for context, and an agent marketplace. Built with Next.js, Supabase, Twilio, and local LLMs. Focus: time back to humans, safety, and user-owned data.

Key Features

  • Voice-First Interface: Natural conversation with agents using advanced voice recognition
  • Glass Overlay: Transparent desktop overlay that understands screen content
  • OCR Context: Intelligent text recognition for enhanced agent understanding
  • Local-First: Your data stays on your machine, no cloud dependencies
  • Agent Marketplace: Extensible ecosystem of specialized agents
  • Multi-Agent Orchestration: Coordinate multiple agents for complex workflows

Technical Architecture

Built with modern web technologies and designed for performance:

  • Frontend: Next.js 14 with TypeScript and Tailwind CSS
  • Backend: Supabase for data management and real-time features
  • Voice: Twilio for voice processing and communication
  • AI: Integration with local LLMs for privacy-first AI interactions
  • Desktop: Electron-based overlay for system integration

Vision

TARX represents a new paradigm in human-computer interaction where AI agents serve as intelligent assistants rather than replacements. By keeping humans in the loop and prioritizing user agency, we're building the foundation for truly beneficial AI systems.
